Gordon T. Greeby, Jr.
Chairman

Before founding his company in 1978, Skip served with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and was Assistant Professor in West Point’s Department of Engineering. He joined the shopping center industry in 1977, co-developed and is an owner in a retail center in Wisconsin.

With the Owner’s needs in mind, Skip and his team advise rookie and seasoned developers alike on the best ways to maximize their returns and minimize risk. In addition to a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Skip holds Master of Science Civil Engineering degrees in Soil Mechanics and Construction Management from Stanford University.

He is a Past Trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers; Chairman – Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional Designation Governing Committee; Recipient – Distinguished Service Award (1999). Skip also served as the 1990/1991 Chairman of the Design and Construction Conference (CenterBuild) and spearheaded the charge to increase registrations from 180 in 1991 to nearly 2,000 today.

Skip is a below-average golfer who enjoys traveling to Europe with his wife Joan, every chance he can get.

Garrett R. Greeby
President & CEO

Aside from running the day-to-day business operations and finances, Garrett acts as Owner’s Representative on multiple projects throughout the country as well as head of the Multi-Family Housing business division for Greeby.

Prior to joining Greeby in 2006, Garrett acted as Auditor for MidCity Financial Corporation and Project Manager for McCaffery Interests where he got his first taste of the development business.

Garrett received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Duke University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Eller Graduate School of Management at the University of Arizona. Garrett has earned the designations of a Certified Development, Design, & Construction Professional (CDP) and Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) by the International Council of Shopping Centers. At the 2013 CenterBuild Conference, ICSC selected Garrett as a member of the inaugural “20 Under 40” Class.

Garrett is a die-hard Cubs fan who remembers being a better athlete in high school than he actually was.

OUR TEAM IN THE FIELD

Jeff MacMillan

Jeff is an extremely talented Tenant Coordinator who knows the TC process, design, development, and construction as well as anyone. As one of our best onsite, Tenant field coordinators, Jeff has delivered on-time and on-budget results for Greeby for nearly 20 years, heading our teams at The Boulevard (Kimco Realty), Bal Harbour Shops (Whitman), Garden State Plaza (Westfield), and Avalon (NAP).

Prior to joining Greeby, Jeff worked as a Construction Manager for various contractors in the Midwest.

 

 

Charles Sampey

Chuck has worked with Greeby for 8 years and currently oversees our team managing Tenant Coordination for various Kimco Realty properties throughout the Midwest.

Prior to joining the Greeby team, Chuck headed the development of expansion in commercial space at the Chicago Merchandise Mart and new facilities at what is now known as Guaranteed Rate Field, where the Chicago White Sox play.

Chuck earned a degree in Architecture and an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Arturo J. Garcia, AIA

Arturo, a licensed Architect, is overseeing the renovation of an existing building into office space for a highly-regarded developer on the East Coast. Prior to joining Greeby, Arturo acted as Owner’s Representative and Project Manager on a number of impressive developments in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean for Sambil Group, SE. In addition, he holds dual citizenship in both the United States and Spain.

Arturo earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Real Estate Development from George Mason University.

Ron Zeytoonian

Ron is the newest member of the Greeby team, managing East Coast Tenant Coordination for a high-profile client. Prior to joining the team, Ron worked on many impressive projects including The Shops at Hudson Yards, American Dream Meadowlands, and Town Center at Boca Raton.

Ron earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.

 

Ron Malnar

Ron has worked with Greeby for the last 10 years on a variety of Project Management assignments. In his 45 years in the business, he worked on the development team at Target Corporation and General Growth Properties.

Ron earned a degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University. He has recently represented PREIT in a redevelopment just outside of Grand Rapids, MI, and many other projects for Greeby throughout the Midwest including the Hawthorn Mall expansion in Vernon Hills, IL.

Charles Schmidt

Chuck is a busy man on the Greeby team, currently working on multiple projects throughout the Midwest on behalf of Kimco Realty, Steiner, and Seritage Growth Properties. Prior to joining our team, Chuck led Construction at Gap and Borders.

Chuck earned a Bachelors in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Michigan.

David Morriss

David joined the Greeby team in 2015, heading our pre-development services at Wade Park in Frisco, TX. Located in Sarasota, FL, David is a 10+ year member of the Sarasota Planning Board.

David has experience all over the country. His past projects include Sawgrass Mills, Gurnee Mills, Broomfield Gardens, Jersey Gardens, and Lakeside Village, just to name a few.

David holds multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas.

Dan Passarello

Dan has over 25 years of real estate experience in a wide variety of roles including Retail Operations, Maintenance Management, Tenant Coordination, and Project Management. He is proficient in all phases of site administration including management, operations, marketing, security, maintenance, community relations, and the due diligence process. Dan has been a member of the Greeby team for nearly a decade and heads up our Tenant Coordination team in New York, working with multi-family developer clients.

Dan is a Professor at the City University of New York of Staten Island, teaching his students about consumer behavior and management organization. He holds many ICSC designations including CRRP, CSM, CSD,CLS, CDP, and CRX. He earned a BS in Economics from Wagner College.
