We were Owners first. As such we know what it means to put your money on the line and how to make the tough decisions. After attending the United States Military Academy at West Point, meeting and marrying Joan Meyer, a fiercely independent and spirited woman from New Jersey, attending Stanford University for graduate school and serving his country at home and abroad for 9 years, Gordon “Skip” Greeby entered the civilian world by working for the iconic shopping center developer, Hal Imus. After Hal chose to retire, Skip founded the company in 1978 as a development and project management firm. For the nearly the next decade, Skip and his partners developed and managed various projects with a primary focus on shopping centers in the Midwest. With each successful project the firm continued to set the bar for the rest of the industry.
Anticipating the dynamic industry shift that was to accompany the late 1980’s real estate market the firm made a strategic decision to postpone all development activities. Greeby recognized and seized an opportunity to leverage their relationships, knowledge and experience by becoming the premier national Owner’s Representative advisory firm.
